The White House is hosting a fancy state dinner for the visiting Chinese president Hu Jintao. This kind of thing sets political pundits to thinking about trade deficits and currency inequities and global economic strategies.

Me, I think about Chinese food.

Sure, they'll be eating pear & goat cheese salad, lobster, steak, and apple pie at the White House, but we're craving Asian around here. If you are, too, try one of these recipes tonight.
